The hotel Areti, renovated in the winter of 2008, is situated south of the Island of Crete, 53 km. from the town of Rethymnon and 500 metres from the centre of the village of Agia Galini. Close to the hotel there is a fine choice of restaurants, bar and supermarkets and the beach is approx 500 metres away. Furthermore the area of Messara offers great options for the visitors, for instance, the Minoan Palace Phaestos and the village of Matala with the historical caves.
